FAIRVIEW, Mich. — Fairview Schools will be closed both Thursday and Friday for a deep cleaning and sterilization. School administrators was notified of a parent of students in Fairview Area Schools has tested positive for COVID-19.
District Health Department No. 2 is informing all staff and students who are considered close contacts. If a student does not meet the criteria of a close contact, they will not be required to quarantine and they will not be notified.
The school administration says they will be moving forward under the guidance of DHD2 so the proper measures are taken to protect students.
