Clouding over Saturday, then brighter Sunday

High temperatures today reached 51 degrees in Alpena. Temperatures at the shoreline were several degrees cooler, a light breeze was coming out of the northeast. Highs reached 47 degrees in Oscoda and 44 degrees in Rogers City.

Friday start with cloud cover and ended with sunshine. Saturday will be the opposite, starting with early sunshine then cloud cover will move in. A storm system will pass to our south, bringing showers to southern Michigan. Cloud cover will decrease Sunday.

Low temperatures overnight will cool to about 29 degrees. Mostly clear skies are expected early Saturday with temperatures in the middle 30s. Afternoon highs will warm to about 52 degrees and more cloud cover will move in. Evening temperatures will remain mild, in the lower 40s.

Saturday afternoon will be mostly cloudy and highs will reach the lower 50s. Sunday will also have highs in the lower 50s with a little more sunshine. Monday will be mainly clear, then clouds will increase at night. After that, chances of showers will move in for the middle of the upcoming week.
