Board votes to continue learning plan
ALPENA, Mich.– The Alpena Board of Education voted Monday to continue their current COVID–19 learning plan.
Board members unanimously agreed to uphold the COVID–19 extended learning plan.
Under the current plan, grades K through 5 meet in person, while 6 through 12 use a hybrid model.
However, some changes may be in store.
The board agreed to arrange a special session for expanding face–to–face instruction time for middle and high school students.
