ALPENA, Mich. — For Michiganders wondering whether or not you can carry guns to the polls, it looks like your worries are over.
A judge has struck down Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson’s directive that open carry of firearms in polling places on election day is prohibited.
Jeff Stahl, an employee at Bob’s Gun Shop in Alpena said he has seen an increase of gun sales within the last year.
Stahl mentions his top sellers and explains why he supports the open carry of firearms.
Attorney General Dana Nessel is appealing the judge’s ruling.
