Alpena Public Schools online enrollment deadline Friday Jan. 8
ALPENA, Mich. — The deadline for Alpena Public Schools parents to enroll in online classes for second semester is this Friday, Jan. 8.
APS asks families to help guarantee a quick transition into second semester by making their decision whether or not to enroll in online learning by that date.
Second semester starts on Jan. 25 and the aps wants to avoid delays in the start of classes, similar to those in September. The school system recommends parents watch an informational video posted to their website before making a decision.

Parents with questions can contact Elly Diamond for grades K-5 at diamonde@alpenaschools.com, Nancy Abram for grades 6-8 at abramn@alpenaschools.com, and parents of high schoolers are requested to contact their child’s counselor.
