Alpena Library to distribute crafts through bookstore
ALPENA, Mich.– The Alpena County Library is taking a new approach to distributing their Christmas crafts this year.
Normally, parents can pick up the annual activity kits directly from the library. However, COVID–19 and the library’s renovations meant the library needed a new way to distribute the kits.
This year, parents can pick up craft supplies from the Parallel 45 bookstore downtown, starting December 12.
Youth librarian Mary Clute said the most of the crafts can hang on your tree.
Clute said the library will take a short break after christmas, and they’ll be launching new kids’ programming after New Year’s,
