Alpena Convention and Visitors Bureau Finds New Home in Old Town
Alpena- The Alpena Convention and Visitors Bureau will have a new home in Alpena.
The CVB closed on the building next to John A Lau Saloon on Friday, located at 420 N. Second Avenue in Old Town. Local guides will also be added to downtown to help tourists with any questions or recommendations they might have about the area. The CVB is currently located at the Chamber of Commerce. The new location will have plenty of storage space and the staff will increase from 1 to 3. A recent surge in local tourism has caused the CVB to find a new space. A grand opening will take in the Spring.
