ACC student tests positive for COVID-19
ALPENA, Mich. — An Alpena Community College student has tested positive for COVID–19 today.
The student began showing symptoms late last week and was tested on Friday. According to a press release from ACC, District Health Department No.4 has been notified.
The health department is in the process of contact tracing and ACC’s Director of Public Information, Jay Walterreit, said the college is operating as normal but they are taking extra precautions.
Even if you are not experiencing symptoms, ACC recommends wearing your mask while in public places, practicing social distancing, and frequent hand washing.
