Dry weather moving in; Warmer Thursday

Throughout the day, we have seen badly-needed steady rain across Northeast Michigan. In some places, amounts have exceeded one inch of rainfall (highlighted in yellow), though most of the area has seen amounts closer to a half-inch.

The rain is beginning to clear out, although cloudy skies will persist this evening. More sunshine will move in tomorrow afternoon, and clear skies will continue through Thursday.

The morning will start a little cool with temperatures in the 50s, though by the afternoon high temperatures will warm to around 76 degrees. We will see a mix of sun and clouds morning and midday, then thinning cloud cover in the late-afternoon and evening.

Plenty of dry weather will last Wednesday through Thursday. On Friday increasing clouds are expected, leading to a chance of rain from Friday evening until Saturday afternoon.

Partly cloudy skies are in tomorrow’s forecast with high temperatures reaching the mid-70s. Warmer temperatures and more sunshine will move in Thursday, as highs warm into the lower 80s. By late Friday the next chance of rain will arrive lasting into Saturday.
