United Way Team Searching for 100 Heroes to Help Hit 2018 Campaign Goal

Alpena- 100 donations of $100 equals $10,000. That is the exact amount of money that United Way of Northeast Michigan needs to fulfill their 2018 Campaign.

Steve and Alison Jakubcin are Co-Chair Heads of the United Way and were searching for a way to help raise the funds while highlighting the generous donors in the community. Alison helped drum up the idea “100 Heroes” to finish off the 2018 campaign goal of $215,000. So far 52 of 100 donors have given $100.

With 2 days left in the campaign, Alison and Steve are confident they can hit their numbers, even if it’s a few days into March. The two are in their first year at the helm for the organization and do not want to be the first to miss the mark.
