Two high-power offenses battle it out on game of the week
Week Five’s Game of the Week deals with two high–power offenses that can put points on the board in a real hurry. The Hillman Tigers (4-0) look to stay undefeated as they host the Mio Thunderbolts (3-1).
Both teams are coming off impressive wins last week. Mio defeated St. Helen by a score of 68-12 and Hillman was able to pick up a road win as they defeated Au Gres-Sims 52-20.
The last time these two teams met was back in 2017, where the Tigers crushed the Thunderbolts 52-18. Both squads are very excited for this matchup.
“It’s a big game,” said Hillman Head Coach Cody Allen. “It’s homecoming week for us so we need to stay away from those distractions, stay focused and ready to go.”
The opening kickoff is scheduled for this Friday at 7 p.m.
