Twelve county positions open

ALPENA, Mich.— Alpena County is looking to fill 12 open positions on local committees, commissions and boards. Interested applicants are required to be Alpena County residents.

All selected employees are appointed by the board of commissioners. The deadline to apply is Thursday, October 22. Information on specific openings and job requirements can be found on the City of Alpena website.

Those who are interested can mail, email or drop off a completed application at the commissioners office inside the county courthouse.
