Trunk-or-Treat A Huge Success
Downtown Alpena was absolutely packed tonight as the annual Trunk or Treat event took place.
Thousands of kids were out and about downtown collecting candy from local businesses, as well as various Alpena groups behind City Hall.
The annual event was hosted by the Michigan State Police Alpena Post and WATZ, and has been a Halloween staple for the past few years.
The event is a great way for businesses downtown to give back to the community, and organizers hope to continue hosting it for years to come.
Once kids were done collecting candy they were able to head over to the Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary for even more Halloween fun.
