Tigers clinch back-to-back Little Dipper titles
HILLMAN, Mich. — After taking a pair of games in Hale last Monday, the Hillman Tigers baseball team goes on to beat Au Gres-Sims twice in a doubleheader, by scores of 16-1 and 15-3. With a pair of wins against the Wolverines, the Tigers have clinched back-to-back Little Dipper titles in the North Star League. In addition, Hillman extends their winning streak to six games.
Hillman will look to bring the hot bats on Friday as they’ll battle Johannesburg-Lewiston in a doubleheader. According to the Michigan High School Baseball Coaches Association, the Cardinals rank No. 5 in Division 4. First pitch is set for 4 p.m.
