Thunder Bay Theatre holds auditions for summer season

ALPENA, MICH — Thunder Bay Theatre is gearing up for its summer season, and is looking for volunteers to take part in the show.

The theatre will be holding auditions for summer roles Thursday, march 28th at 6 p.m.

Singers and dancers are needed for upcoming shows and individuals can audition without previous experience.

Producing artistic director of the theatre, Jeff Mindock, says to come ready to put your best foot forward, but not to stress out.

“One of the best things that I always share with my auditioners is that I am looking for the most talented individuals anywhere, because when I find the most talented individuals, that just means the show is going to be even better. So there’s no reason to stress, there’s no reason to freak out, or be worried. We’re really just looking for everyone to come and do their best and feel their best and to get to know more people in the community.”

Mindock says this is a great experience for volunteers to work with professionals from all over the country, as well as fully engage in the Alpena experience.

Stop by Thunder Bay Theatre tomorrow at 6 pm to try out.
