ALPENA, Mich. — The Salvation Army recently received quite the donation.
The kettle challenge has allowed the Salvation Army to serve over 160 families.
On Decmeber 17 an anonymous donor dropped cash in five kettle locations totaling $2,000.
Administrator Major Prezza Morrison said this regarding donations.
“We’d like to thank the person who donated those funds because again we were concerned weather we would be able to receive those funds because of the economy.”
The Salvation Army uses donations to help families in need and any amount given can change someone’s life.
