Starbucks and Wellnow Urgent Care coming to Alpena
The first ever Starbucks is coming to Alpena. Starbucks is the world’s largest coffeehouse chain.
Alpena Resident Aiden Morton said, “I’m excited that Starbucks is coming into town we need more choices in Alpena.”
The Wellnow Urgent located next-door to the Starbucks will be coming to town as well. This will be the 2nd urgent care located in Alpena.
Alpena Economic Development Director Mike Mahler said, “For people to go to the emergency room who have a non emergent situation it’s just a really poor use of those resources and the wait times are to long so we really did need a urgent in our community.”
Urgent cares provide easy access to quality healthcare for residents. Both facilities will be located on the corner of M–32 and Bagley Street and are expected to open in the near future.
