Sanctuary Inn Becomes Ramada Inn, After Signing Agreement

After becoming the Sanctuary Inn and Conference Center just a few years ago, the hotel on US–23 in Alpena is now a Ramada Inn after the signing of a new franchise agreement.

The inn has been professionally operating as a Ramada since the start of the month, but will undergo a number of changes within the next year, including updating their signage, which will officially begin next week. The change will not only affect the name of the hotel, but also the name of CW’s Restaurant, and diners could also expect to see an update to the menu.

Employees at the inn are excited for the change, and expect residents and hotel goers to enjoy them just as much.

“Well over the course of the next year, there will be a lot of changes taking place at the hotel. There will be changes to the bar and to the restaurant, and updates to the rooms. We hope to still provide the same great service that we always have,” says General Manager Angie Barz.

The switch to a Ramada Inn will have no effect on the staff or workers.

Rachee Lodging, who is located in Livonia Michigan, privately owns the hotel.
