Run a happy little 5K
MICHIGAN– This weekend is the last chance to register for the Happy Little 5K.
The run, sponsored by the Michigan DNR, commemorates landscape painter and PBS star Bob Ross.
It helps raise money for tree protection and replanting in areas affected by invasive parasites. Participants run wherever and however they want, even on a treadmill, so long as it’s five kilometers. The run takes place from April 22 to April 30.
Registration ends March 1 and costs $34 per person.
