Reel Fun Fishing Tournament at Grand Lake

Presque Isle, Mich — The 2019 Top O’Michigan Reel Fun Fishing Tournament took place Saturday on Grand Lake. Fishers of all ages took part in the annual ice fishing tournament.

The tournament challenged the ice fishers to catch the biggest Walleye (by weight). Prizes were given to the top 30 winners, and t-shirts to the next 45.

Participants could win various prizes through raffles or placement in the tournament. Some of the prizes included fishing gear, ice fishing upgrades, and various outdoor accessories.

Pat Pilarski caught a 0.49 pound Walleye to claim the top spot. He is the lucky winner of a new, 2019 Honda Pioneer 4×4.
