Police search property in missing teen case
ALPENA, Mich. — Michigan State Police served a search warrant at 1630 West Naylor Road around 9 AM Tuesday morning.
A few hours later, around 12:30, they brought in a backhoe.
MSP Lieutenant Derrick Carroll says the search is related to the Brynn Bills case, an 18–year–old girl who’s been missing since early August.
Lt. Carroll says he can’t provide any specific details about the search– but he did tell us about the units involved.
“We have the state police crime lab here. We also have detectives from the seventh district here looking for evidence pertaining to the search warrant.”
Police obtained the warrant after receiving a tip from someone in the community.
Lt. Carroll says the public can expect information from the search in the coming days.
