Onaway Man Charged with Possession of Narcotics Following Traffic Stop
An Onaway man has been arrested on narcotics charges after a traffic stop performed by Michigan State Police.
46–year–old Jess Nash was pulled over for a traffic violation in Allis Township. When the trooper approached the truck, Nash appeared to be under the influence. He was given a sobriety test and arrested shortly afterwards.
While searching the vehicle, the trooper found drugs and drug related materials.
Nash was lodged in the Presque Isle County Jail and charged with one count of delivery and or manufacturing methamphetamine, one count of possession of narcotics or cocaine under 25 grams, one count possession of analogues, and one count of operating while visibly impaired.
His bond was set at $500,000 and his next court date is on July 19.
