Northern Lights Arena bringing back free open ice skating
ALPENA, Mich. — After the approval of the Alpena County Youth and Recreation millage, Northern Lights Arena is again set to bring free, open skating sessions to the public every Saturday. No need to worry about bringing skates either, as the arena will offer them for free as well.
Arena Manager, Keli Werda, is excited to bring free ice skating back to Alpena. “It’s a good thing for the millage. The millage approved it, and this is a good all around activity that anybody can enjoy.”
Free open skating will be available every Saturday, 1-2:45 p.m. and will continue until December 21.
