Next Level Wednesday – Becoming a Certified Meditation Instructor

ALPENA, Mich. — On today’s Next Level Wednesday we spoke with HeartMind Center Owner, Brian Schorn who spoke with us about the focus of his business.  Schorn explained that it is a meditation center that is grounded in three different types of practices including meditation , mindfulness, and movement.

He said he began studying meditation about 2006 when a situation in his life caused everything to fall apart.  Schorn has persevered through incredible hardships and challenges and said for those wanting to give up, it’s too soon to do that.  He said just keep going.

There is no formal training to become a meditation instructor but Schorn said there are places online where you can obtain your certification.
