New Half-Marathon a success
ALCONA COUNTY, Mich. — Organizer Joe Lavigne said the weather held off on August 28, allowing participants to run from Negwegon State Park to the Sturgeon Point Lighthouse uninterrupted.
The event raised money for the park and the Alcona Historical Society.
Lavigne said runners enjoyed the new course.
