MSP joins autism initiative
LANSING, Mich. — As we move into the month of April we also move into Autism Awareness month.
The Michigan State Police joined the Action for Autism initiative which provides officers with calming bags that contain fidget spinners, stress balls, teddy bears and therapeutic silicone items.
These items help with the comfort and security needs of a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Autism Alliance of Michigan will provide virtual training to the MSP.
