Mild until the end of the week; Light snow early Saturday

Some afternoon sunshine and a light breeze out of the south about 10 mph brought high temperatures in the middle to upper 20s today. High temperatures will reach a few degrees warmer tomorrow and Saturday.

Dry weather extends across our area, most of Wisconsin through Minnesota and North Dakota — much of tomorrow will remain dry. Snow currently in Montana will travel east, reaching our area predawn early Saturday.


Partly cloudy skies and light winds are expected tonight as low temperatures drop to about 8 degrees. Tomorrow will start with partly cloudy skies, then cloud cover will increase throughout the day, and afternoon highs will reach 31 degrees.

Mild temperatures will remain in our area until Saturday. After some light snow on Saturday, winds will shift out of the northwest on Sunday and bring colder air to our area. High temperatures will drop to the middle teens early next week.

Expect dry weather throughout the daytime hours tomorrow with increasing cloud cover and highs in the lower 30s. Some light snow is expected early Saturday, highs will reach around 30 degrees and skies will clear late-day. Drier weather is forecast for Sunday with much cooler temperatures, reaching only the upper teens in the afternoon. The colder temperatures will continue Monday and Tuesday.
