Mid-Michigan Health starts new heart failure clinic
Mid–Michingan Health is making a big change just as Heart Month comes to an end.
The health center has expanded its heart failure program, opening a new cardiology clinic in the city.
Doctors in the clinic will work to combat heart failure, a disease in which the heart’s ability to pump correctly is impaired. The new program will focus on modifying behaviors and adjusting medications for the patient’s needs.
Dr. Salacata says he is excited to be bringing the new comprehensive program to Alpena.
