Michigan PFAS Action Response Team to update Oscoda residents on investigation

LANSING, Mich. — The Michigan PFAS Action Response Team (MPART) will provide an update on its continuing investigation of PFAS contamination near the former Wurtsmith Air Force Base on Tuesday, April 20, 2021.

MPART representatives from the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE); the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS); and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) along with District Health Department No. 2 will host the virtual community meeting on April 20, 2021 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

The April 20 meeting is planned as an online event, rather than an in-person meeting to comply with current state measures designed to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
