MHSAA Playoffs Round One Fifth Down Highlights

ALPENA, MI – MHSAA Playoffs for High School Football got underway tonight, and a few of our local teams had a chance to move on to regionals.

First in a battle between the Hillman Tigers and Mio Thunderbolts, Hillman looked for revenge after losing to Mio in Week Two. The Tigers would get that revenge and get the win 32-26 and move on to Regionals.

Next up, the Rogers City Hurons with just one loss on the year would unfortunately come up short against Inland Lakes 24-38.

In a battle to see who would face Hillman in Regionals, Marion would destroy Gaylord St. Mary 48-8 and will now face the Tigers next Friday.

Finally, Au-Gres-Sims perfect season lives on as they defeated Peck 68-42 to move on and face Kinde North Huron in Regionals.
