Mallak commits to Lansing Community College

OSCODA, Mich. — We all know that the 2020 high school basketball season got cut short due to COVID–19. For a lot of our local seniors, this was the last time they would ever play the sport or sports they loved. But one Oscoda owl has decided he wants to take his talents to the next level.

Oscoda senior Brayden Mallak decided to play basketball for the next two years at Lansing Community College. Brayden a 4-year starter at Oscoda played a huge roll in the basketball programs turnaround the last few years. Mallak a very consistent point guard does a great job distributing the basketball. He broke Oscoda’s single-season assists record at 119. Brayden’s relentlessness on both ends of the floor has played a large part in the Owl’s team success.

Congratulations to Brayden on a tremendous high school career.
