Lumberjacks add another pitcher to their softball program
ALPENA, Mich. — The Alpena Community College softball team added another pitcher to their program. Former Alpena Wildcat Lilly Lewis has officially signed to play for the ACC Lumberjacks.
She is a left–handed pitcher who recorded 24 strikeouts for the Wildcats last season and also received honorable mention. Head Coach Christin Sobeck believes Lilly can add a lot of depth to the team with her fastball and changeup. Lilly is very excited to play collegiate ball in the spring for ACC.
“I really love to play softball and didn’t want to travel,” said Lewis. “My sister played softball and I just wanted to follow her footsteps.”
In the classroom, Lilly is currently majoring in Criminal Justice.
