Lisa Knights’ Family Still Suffering on Twelfth Anniversary of Knight’s Disappearance

Lisa Knight disappeared from Ossineke, Michigan, under mysterious circumstances on June 8th, 2012. Lisa Knight was last seen at her ex-husband Lloyd Frey’s home. She called a friend from Frey’s house. “We know she hasn’t been forgotten, but we don’t want her to be. The community support has been fantastic. You know, but we’re hoping that segments like this will jar somebody’s memory, help in getting to the bottom of what happened. Because we don’t forget, and it’s hard. It is. It is. Some days are worse than others. Yeah, especially around this time of year. This is the anniversary within a couple of days. She’s been gone 12 years,” said Jean and Marc knight, Lisa Knight’s parents.

The waiting has been excruciating for the family. “Her kids need closure. Her older kids don’t even want to talk about it. Yeah, it still hurts to the point where they just dredge it up. They won’t. They don’t want to be a part of it,” said Marc Knight. “Her oldest son just had his first baby, so she would be a grandmother for the first time.” said Jean Knight. A statement from Detective Lively of the Michigan State Police states, “We have been looking for Lisa since June 12th, 2012. The Michigan State Police are continuing this investigation and are asking anyone with information to contact the Michigan State Police.”
