Jordan Laidlaw was born just after 2 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
Parents Joe and Kristi were in the hospital for two days before he finally arrived. So far, he’s been taking it easy on his parents. “The second night he slept from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. and of course dad was up all night checking on him,” said Kristi. “I was zonked out. I took it all and I slept but he’s been really good.”
Jordan is the third boy born to the couple and they expect a lot of sports and hunting in his future, just like his older brothers Jaxon and Julian. “I know we’re going to be doing a lot of bow hunting together,” said Joe. “That much I do know. We’ll see what his interests are and what he likes to do. I have to think following in his brothers footsteps. He’ll be hunting and fishing and playing lots of sports.”
While it will still be a while before he’s out in the field or out in the woods, one thing Joe and Kristi try to pass on to their children is to be a leader and stand out above the rest.
