LINCOLN, Mich. — A Lincoln man was arrested on Friday for breaking and entering.

William Hjorth, age 31, is currently in Iosco County Jail for breaking into and stealing from Snyder’s Lincoln Pharmacy on September 18.

Although he managed to escape the building before authorities arrived, the law eventually caught up with him.

Alcona Undersheriff Keith Myers says it was Hjorth’s involvement with a separate crime in Oscoda that did him in.

The Alcona Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant and arrested Hjorth the same day.

“Once the deputies got [to his home] and served in assistance with Oscoda township, they saw some items that were related to the break-in at Lincoln Pharmacy.”

He was arraigned on three charges related to the B&E case on Friday. He is currently awaiting his next court appearance.
