ALPENA, Mich. — If you’re interested in learning about your rights ahead of the presidential primary, the League of Women voters has you covered.
The organization will hold three public forums in the next two months to educate community members. The first will be a formal–style town hall meeting that will address changes in voting laws, the census, and redistricting They’ll also hold an open house on February 14 to celebrate women’s 100th year of having the freedom to vote and they’ll inform residents on topics such as absentee voting. The last meeting is a collaboration with the Association of Lifelong Learners that will be held on February 19.
