ALPENA, Mich. — APS officials said late Sunday they’re temporarily understaffed at the Junior High and had to cancel Monday classes.

In a release Monday afternoon, officials said staffing struggles will continue so long as COVID–19 remains an illness that requires quarantine. APS employees are now required to wear a mask when at work.

Junior High students, meanwhile, will go to Google Meet for their classes for the rest of the week. Officials say Junior High students will return to classes next Monday, September 20.
