Jack Schmanski finishes sixth in the Alpena Invitational BNC
Alpena junior Jack Schmanski finishes sixth overall at 79, seven over par.
Alpena, Mich. — The Wildcats boys golf team hosted the Alpena Invitational BNC on Tuesday. It was a beautiful, sunny day with a slight breeze. The best weather the Wildcats have seen all season.
Jack Schmanski led the way for Alpena. The junior shot 79, seven over par. This marked Schmanski’s first time under 80 this season. He finished in a four-way tie for sixth place. Matt Hoos had a great outing ending the day at 88. The sophomore placed in the top 25.
