LINCOLN, MI- It was a festive atmosphere at the Alcona County Fairgrounds as many gathered for the running of the Cedar Tavern Bar & Grill 250 snow mobile race. One of the marquee events for the Midwest International Racing Association.
The 250 lap race brought out the spectators and set the stage for a big competition as teams battled for the top spot. The machines that can get upwards of 100 miles per hour, were slowed down a bit by less than stellar track condition as warmer temperatures softened the track.
Hoos Racing took home the win in a close battle over the Tommie Bauer racing team. The Bauer team finished less than three seconds behind the winners. Cadarette Collison racing rounded out the top three. Full results of the entire weekend can be found on the MIRA Facebook page.
