Hillman dominates the net against Fairview

Fairview (October 9, 2018) — The Hillman Tigers traveled to Fairview to battle the Eagles in a North Star League conference battle. The Eagles took set one 25-23, but the rest was all Hillman. It was at the net where the Tigers dominated. Emilee Noffze had two big middle blocks and contributed 11 kills and 24 digs.
When play was off balance that’s when the Eagles made their attack. It was all about execution for Hillman and they won 3-1 taking the last three sets 25-18, 25-10 and 25-23.
Brooke Jones led the Tigers with 13 kills, 37 digs and 5 aces. Makenna Grulke also contributed 5 aces. Alison Samp put up 27 aces, 9 digs, 3 kills and 2 aces.
The Tigers are now (11-5-4) overall and (2-3-4) in the conference. Hillman hosts Oscoda on Thursday, October 11, 2018.
