Heritage Hawks Swoop Down on the Alpena Wildcats 53-0

ALPENA, MI – The Heritage Hawks took a visit to the Wildcat Stadium to face off against the Alpena Wildcats in their season opener of the 2022 football season.

After dealing with a rain delay, the Hawks and Wildcats took the field. Heritage got on the board first with a run from their own 17-yard line. The Wildcats were able to put a stop to the Hawks attempt at an extra point leaving them with a 6-0 lead.

Alpena made some good plays on offense and were able to move themselves down the field, but they were unable to score points. The Hawks and the Wildcats went into halftime with a score of 26-0.

Both teams had strong plays throughout the game, but the Hawks ended up flying by the Wildcats with a final score of 53-0.

Alpena faces off against Marquette at home on September 1 at 6:30 p.m.
