Friends of Marine Sanctuary run trivia contest
ALPENA, Mich. — As part of the lead–up to Giving Tuesday, the Friends of the Thunder Bay Marine Sanctuary is doing some giving of its own.
Friends of the Sanctuary is hosting a prize drawing to promote the NOAA website.
Every day, they post a question to their Facebook page. Whoever answers it gets their name entered in a drawing for that day’s prize.
The catch is that you have to find the answer by exploring NOAA’s website, including 3D models and 360-degree shipwreck photos.
Member Katie Wolf said these simulated dives are a more accessible way to experience thunder bay’s lost ships.
