Fresh colors in the loft
ALPENA, Mich. — Autumn colors are usually orange and brown. But one art gallery is featuring a greener palette.
Art in the Loft opened their Emerald juried art exhibit on Friday.
It features 82 pieces, all in shades of green in honor of their 20th anniversary.
You can check out the exhibit from October 1 through November 11 and online through December 31.
For those craving a more traditional fall experience, Loft coordingator Lane Olsen says the loft offers plenty of programs for families.
“We have a fun puppeteering workshop coming up with mini monsters with Melly Pop. And then we have a culinary class for kids in the kitchen and a Saturday morning art class that are all Halloween themed and costumes [are] encouraged.”
Adults can enjoy wine etiquette, fashion design, and sit & paint classes.
