Four locals land spot on State Champs! top 100 softball list

Michigan — The State Champs! released the top 100 list for best Michigan softball players, and four locals made the list. Two from Alpena and two from Rogers City:

81 – Emma Fraser (Alpena, Senior)
Position: P/3B
Honors: First-team D1 all-state (2018)
College: Alma

86 – Taylor Fleming (Rogers City, Senior)
Position: SS/1B/P
School: Lake Superior State (volleyball)

87 – Abbie Funk (Alpena, Junior)
Position: SS/P
Honors: HM D1 all-state (2018)

89 – Kyrsten Altman (Rogers City, Junior)
Position: P
Honors: HM D4 all-state (2018)
