POSEN, MI- The Posen Vikings are coming off of a one win season in 2021, but they are working towards making sure that does not happen again.
As the third smallest school in Michigan with a student body of 76 students, the Vikings face the challenges of simply having enough players. Head Coach Greg Pietsch understands the challenge of limited bodies but believes he has a group that can compete.
“We got to get in the weight room and work,” said senior OL/DL Lucas Mercier. “It is up to the upperclassman to lead and show these younger guys what it takes. It has been good to see the young guys get good reps in practice.”
The Vikings are just 11 days away from their opener. They take on Hale on August 26.
