Football’s First Look: Au-Gres Sims
AU-GRES, MI- The 2022 high school football season is upon us. The defending NSL champions, the Au-Gres Sims Wolverines had their first practice of the season on Monday as coach Brian Sanchez looks to build off of last years state semi-final appearance.
After losing seven seniors to graduation, the staff is faced with the challenge of retooling the roster with younger players. The offense will be lead by Senior Running Back Keagan Bender. The leader said, “If we put in the work and work as a team. I guarantee we can beat last years team.”
Throughout the pre season, the WBKB sports team will be traveling to local schools to preview the upcoming season. The Wolverines open up the 2022 season against Atlanta on August 26th.
