Families Opt Out Vacation for ‘Spring Break Workouts’

Spring break is usually a time for relaxation, but that’s not stopping local families in the area from staying active with family fit camp.

 Over 30 families have made it their goal to get up and move around instead of taking a vacation or relaxing indoors. Trainer, Rick Houchin said it only takes a few minutes to get in a good workout.

Houchin said the fitness camp isn’t all about workouts; it’s also a way for people within the community to become friends. Houchin hopes that this week’s camp encourages each family to walk away and continue their workouts together while at home, and without a trainer.
