Fairview boys and girls get the job done in Atlanta
ATLANTA, Mich. — On Friday, both the Fairview boys and girls basketball teams picked up huge road wins as they went to Atlanta to take down the Huskies.
Boys Basketball:
Fairview (1-6) 51
Atlanta (2-5) 49
Ashton Huskey paced the Eagles with 12 points. Sam Ford netted 10 points and Isaiah Ford finished with nine points.
Despite the loss, Aaron Cuzzort had himself a game for the Huskies. The senior led the Huskies in the scoring department with 21 points. Trenton Whitt also played a strong game as he finished with a double-double (18 points, 18 rebounds).
Girls Basketball:
Fairview (4-2) 41
Atlanta (1-5) 26
Katelyn Bowers led the charge for the Eagles with 18 points, while Jera Nicholson contributed with 11 points. Shaelynne Lance paced the Huskies with eight points.
