Detectives submit reports in Bills and Hill cases

ALPENA, Mich. — State Police Information Officer Derrick Carroll told WBKB detectives handed their reports to the Alpena prosecutor on Wednesday.

Carroll says what happens next depends on prosecutor Muszynski’s assessment of the files. It’s unclear how– if at all– this will affect persons of interest Josh Wirgau and Brad Srebnik. The pair are currently in jail on unrelated kidnapping charges.

Hill was allegedly an accomplice in the kidnapping, while Police found Bills’s body in Wirgau’s yard.
