ALPENA, MI — The Alpena Wildcats boys team is off to their best start since the (2014-15) season when they went (10-0) before their first loss. The green and white continued their winning trend on Friday at home against the Escanaba Eskymos 79-67. Senior Chris DeRocher knocked down a season-high 40 points, 13 from the charity strike, helping Alpena get a (7-1) record, (2-1) in the Big North Conference.
